Our Kids Ministry exists to support families and help children grow in their relationship with Jesus. We believe children are a vital part of the church and are welcomed just as they are.
MEET CRYSTAL
Crystal leads our Kids Ministry with a genuine love for children and a heart for helping them feel safe, known, and cared for. She is passionate about creating an environment where kids can learn about Jesus in ways that are age appropriate, engaging, and rooted in biblical truth.
Crystal believes every child matters and that each child should feel welcomed and valued. She works closely with volunteers to ensure consistency, care, and meaningful connections for both children and families.

We value consistency in our Kids Ministry. Children are cared for by familiar faces who are committed to creating a welcoming and dependable environment each week.
What to Expect
Our Kids Ministry serves children from nursery through elementary ages. During service, children participate in age-appropriate activities that include teaching, discussion, and interactive learning. Our goal is to help children understand biblical truth in a way that is engaging and meaningful.
FIRST TIME VISITING WITH KIDS
We know visiting a new church with children can feel overwhelming, especially the first time. Our goal is to make your experience as simple, welcoming, and stress free as possible from the moment you arrive.
When you arrive at The King’s Promise Ministries, a member of our Welcome Team will be happy to assist you. They will introduce you to a Kids Ministry volunteer, who will be wearing a lanyard labeled Kids Ministry along with their name. Our volunteers are easy to spot and ready to help.
During service, children remain in the main worship area with their families through Pastor Sam’s opening prayer, announcements, and worship. After worship, children will be guided to the Kids Ministry area located in the back room behind the sanctuary. Both the nursery and Kids Ministry take place in this area.
Our building is small and easy to navigate, so you will never feel far from your child or unsure where to go. If you have an infant or toddler and need assistance with a diaper bag or other items, simply let one of our Kids Ministry volunteers know. They will be happy to help carry your child and belongings to the appropriate area.

WHAT VOLUNTEERING LOOKS LIKE
We understand that volunteering with kids can feel intimidating at first. We want you to know that you are not expected to prepare lessons, plan activities, or come up with materials on your own.
Crystal oversees the planning and preparation for Kids Ministry. Lessons, activities, crafts, and materials are thoughtfully prepared ahead of time and clearly organized. Volunteers are provided with everything they need and are supported throughout the process.
Our goal is to create a consistent and welcoming environment for children while making it simple and manageable for those who serve. You do not need prior experience to help. A willingness to show up, care for kids, and support the team is what matters most.
