OUR STORY
The King’s Promise Ministries began with humble beginnings. Our first gatherings took place at Davis Chapel, a historic church built in the 1700s in Danbury, North Carolina. With more faith than resources, we gathered each week seeking God together. Pastor Sam Bowman preached from a simple altar, and worship consisted of a small team and a CD player. Even without modern tools or technology, Jesus faithfully met us there.
In 2020, through the support of faithful friends, we moved into a new building and our church family began to grow. While our location changed, our purpose remained the same. We have seen God heal, restore, deliver, and save, and we are grateful for all He has done among us.
As our church continues to grow, we are looking toward the future with faith and expectancy. We believe God is leading us toward expanded space to serve all He brings through our doors. This vision is a shared journey, and we are thankful for the generosity and support of those who walk alongside us.

MEET PASTOR SAM
Pastor Sam Bowman serves as the lead pastor of The King’s Promise Ministries. He has a deep passion for preaching the Word of God faithfully and without compromise, while pointing people to a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pastor Sam’s heart is to see lives transformed through the power of the Gospel and to lead a church rooted in truth, prayer, and authentic community. His teaching is Bible based, practical, and centered on helping people grow in their walk with Jesus.
He and his family are grateful to serve the church and surrounding community, and he considers it an honor to walk alongside those seeking to know Jesus more deeply.
