Baptism is a public declaration of faith and an outward expression of an inward transformation through Jesus Christ. At The King’s Promise Ministries, we believe baptism is an important step of obedience for those who have chosen to follow Jesus.

Each year, we celebrate baptisms together through river baptisms in the Dan River. This is a meaningful and powerful time where our church family gathers to witness lives changed and faith publicly declared.

River baptisms are held once a year, typically in late summer. The exact date is announced closer to the event, usually taking place in August or September.

Baptism is for those who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and desire to take the next step in their walk with Him. If you have questions about baptism or are unsure if this step is right for you, we would be happy to talk with you.
